Client Software Returns to Main Menu during shows

When watching shows/dvds or whatever on my client computer (Dell XPS 210), it will randomly stop playing and return the main menu. At first I thought it might be something to do with my universal remote control--so I took it out of the room and it still happened. I am using the same universal remote (Universal MX 900) and infrared receiver (Windows MCE) upstairs on my server system and have never seen this happen on the server--only the client.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Is there a wireless keyboard? If so, try disconnecting that.

Does playback actually stop, or does it just go to the Main Menu?

I do have a wireless keyboard connected (Logitech Dinova). Playback stops--when it goes to the main menu. When I then select recorded shows from the menu, it returns to that recorded show on the recorded TV menu. I hit play and everything starts again from the spot where it stopped.

I have the same issue I posted this morning. My problem origninally would do that every 20 minutes or so but now is every 3-4 minutes. I thought it was my usb remote but took that out and the problem persisted. i do have a wireless keyboard as well.

When I hit the left arrow on my remote after it goes to the main menu, it will automatically go right back to playing the recording.
