Server placement delema.

Right now I have the server placed beside my main TV with a Cable box on top of it. ATM I do not have any extenders and instead have a cable box on every TV.

I'm now contemplating centralizing everything and running all TV/movies through sage via extenders. Now the question is do I move my Server from beside the TV? The main problem I see with this is DVD playback. Right now I'm playing all DVD's through the HTPC, and would like to continue to do so. If I move the Server though I will not have easy access to the DVD drive. Also what about plugins, do most work with the extender? The other glitch is Heat, will it overheat in a closet?

Whats your guys opinion? Should I move the Server and cable boxes to a closet (I do not have a decent basement or garage) or leave it where it is and just relocate all the Cable boxes to it?

What I plan on doing is this: Keep SageTV Server/Client running on the Zalman HD135 next to the TV. Playing DVD's is still G2G. Run another version of Sage on a WHS box that has all the capture devices installed, as a network encoding box for the HD135. I realize I could slim this down a bit, but my current HD135 box is flawless...don't want to mess with it. The only extra cost is the second Sage Media Center license as I have WHS already.

I've located the SageTV WHS server downstairs. Once the HD-PVR is released I will also move the cable box down there. All DVDs are ripped to the server and played at the HD and MVP Extenders. I still have 2 client PCs left but 1 will get one replaced soon with a HD Extender. I don't get Watch Now from the Netflix plugin at the extenders but I don't use it alot either. I've played it at the client PC. MovieTimes plugin works great at the extenders. Can't get streamed music at the extenders but my Music library is good enough.
