Occasional short blanks
I read that people are seeing a short blank in video and sound when there is a change in tv program and I also see that, but I am also seeing the same thing at other times, in the middle of a program. It only happens now and then, but it is annoying. I tried changing the "Always tune a channel" option to off but it made no difference.
Has anyone else seen this?

When you change channels you are actually stopping one file from recording and starting a new file to record. Everything Sage does in the TV records to the hard drive. Live TV is actually a recording. You shouldn't see much of a hesitation between channel changes. If you're seeing this in a middle of a recording and you're doing nothing else but watching it you have other issues. Make sure your drive is formatted in 64K blocks and you're using NTFS as the file system. (Not FAT32)

This is happening when I am watching a live DVB broadcast without changing channels and usually happens on the hour or half hour but not always. If it always happened just as one programme finished and another started, I could understand it. It does not happen when I change channels.
