eHome Remote will not work with SageTV/MC

I recently decided to try out SageMC since I've heard so many good things about it recently. However for some strange reason the massive majority of the buttons on my Microsoft eHome MCE remote aren't recognised by Sage. I tried loading SageTV3.XML STV and then "Setup --> Detailed Setup --> Commands --> Remote Config" and choosing "MCE Remote. But it makes no difference. When I got to "Link infrared/keystroke to SageTV Command" it just won't recognise most of the buttons on the remote. Certain ones like the windows button and the main direction buttons are recognised, as are the number buttons. But buttons such as Play, Pause, Back, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind ect won't work at all..

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Possibly. Look a few threads down. There's thread covering this exact same problem.

Just a post to say that I got it sorted. I completely forgot that I originally had Windows Media Center on this system, so it wasn't allowing sage to pick up all the remote functions (though MediaPortal did pick them up, which might have been what threw me off). Anyway I disabled MCE functions and all is now working fine.

I love the feel of the Ehome/MCE remote, but it is a pain in the @$$ to get setup. Most of my PC's run Windows XP Pro SP2 and then you have to go hunting for the drivers....
