STX-HD100 resolution per system info
Hi all-
I've got two screen shots that show my problem better than I can explain it. Here is the system info from my extender (sorry about the photo): and here is a screen shot of my sage client on my tv: Both my extender and my client machine are connected via component, although the same thing happens when connected with hdmi. Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks, Matt Last edited by mcaron1234; 03-04-2008 at 10:10 AM. |

When you set up your extender did you go into Detailed Setup and setup the overscan? The setup where you move the right angles around in the upper left and lower right corner of your screen so that is displays properly?

Yeah, I was sorta of wondering if it may have anything to do with the overscan BUT I set up the overscan the same in the client as well as the extender. The only difference is that I used the ati drivers to get a custom resolution on the tv first with the client so the overscan adjustments via sageclient were minimal.

And you set the HD Extender from the bootup setup to use 480p, 720p, 1080i? I think that and in Detailed setup is the only place to set the res. I'll have to look at mine tonight to see what is says in the system info window. Didn't have a need to look in there so far.

The first number is the one that's important for an extender, so you can pretty much ignore the window size when using an extender. It is just still listed there in case it could help tech support.
