This is most probably due to everything being recorded on a single drive at that particular moment.
Have you formatted your recording drives using 64K blocks? Also lose Norton AV or disable it from scanning your recording drives. You may also need to defrag your drives since, if you regularly record 3 shows at a time, then you 'll end up with very fragmented drives. The most appropriate solution is to force each PVR150 to record to its own drive (since you have 3 of them). I used to have the same issue with just 2 concurrent recording on a nearly full but heavily fragmented drive.

There will be a line like the one below for each of your PVR 150s
mmc/encoders/-1327961488/forced_video_storage_path_prefix= just assign a different path for each and you are set.

Yup, the "forced_video_storage_path_prefix=" function is the way to go! I have 2 HDHRs and 1 Hauppauge 350, and each source get's it own drive. No stuttering ever since I did it. Previously if all three were recording to a single drive, stuttering like crazy.

I often capture 2 HD streams and 2 SD streams while streaming to 2 clients all from one drive and have never had a problem with stuttering because of disk throughput.
