Can the same show be recorded on different channels?
Our local NBC cable channel has poor quality but good reliability. My dish has good quality but poor reliability. I have NBC from both our cable provider and from my dish on SageTV using different tuners of course. I recorded The Apprentice on both the cable card and the satellite card...cable is channel 10 for NBC and the satellite is something like channel 9282. Long story short...only the cable recording showed up even though they both indicated they were recording. Is it possible to record the same show which airs at the same time, but different channels using the two different tuner cards?

Yes, if they have an SH type show ID, Sage cannot tell if they are the same shows. If the shows have a unique show ID then you would have to make both a manual recording to have both recorded. If you watch one then they both would be marked as watched, but because they are manual it would not be deleted until the manual status is removed or you delete them.
