Network Utilization
Here's one for ya. System specs are below. I noticed in the couple weeks or so that the network between the HTPC and the NAS (a Buffalo Linkstation320) that stores all my music and photos is always active. I have pointed SageTV to those directories for the screen saver and my wife likes to use the interface for playing music.
I thought maybe it was a virus, but it wasn't. It seems that SageTV is continuously querying the NAS (figured it out when I completely shut down Sage). Before I rebooted this evening, I checked out the Windows network utilization tool and it was continuously running at around .18%; which is not high, but it was continuous like this for over a week. I just turned around as I was writing this and noticed that the problem is not happening at the moment. Actually, I just looked again and it is back; WIndows network monitor is around 18-20% all the time. The slide show is not running. Nothing but Sage is running. Any Ideas

It's normal for Sage to periodically scan your import directories looking for updates. If you don't want it to do that, turn off "Regularly rescan import directories" under Detailed Setup > Customize.

Has anyone ever posted the rescan timing as a recommendation for a new version? I guess I will turn off the auto scan and ust try to remember to do it manually every couple nights or so.
