Uninstall MacSageTV for Clean Install

I had been running SageTV on a Pundit-R system up until the power supply fan died last week. Probably would have kept on running if I hadn't turned it off... So, seeing that there is a Mac version of SageTV, I placed an order for the bundled application/tv tuner. Installing Sage was straightforward, and seemed to work fine. I received the tuner yesterday, and no matter what I attempted (restarting the Sage server, restarting the Mac, installing the software that came with the tuner) I can't get Sage to recognize the tuner... The software that came with the tuner, however, works and shows video. Sooooo, I was thinking I need to reinstall the software, but can't find info on uninstalling everything so I can do a clean install. Please hep me.

MacMini Intel
Running SageTV 6.2.10
Escape Labs myTV.PVR

Clean install instructions.

I received an answer from SageTV tech support (thanks!);
thought I would post it here for all to benefit. Cheers!

To reinstall. Make sure you stop the Sage service in System Preferences
then delete SageTV from the applications folder. Then go into
Library/Receipts and remove the SageTvServer pkg. And in
Library/LaunchDaemon remove tv.sage.SageTV.plist. Restart your machine and
verify that all those things are gone and you can empty the trash to make
sure. Also navigate to /Library/Application Support/ and delete the SageTV
folder.

Now install SageTV again to the applications folder.

To completely uninstall just do all of the above except the "re-install" at the end. That should completely remove Sage from your mac (I believe).

10.6 does not store a package receipt, this was a cause of the "ask to install each time" headache. You'll need to launch Terminal and type the following to purge the installer receipt:

sudo pkgutil --forget tv.sage.service.SageTV

You can verify it's "forgotten" by running:
pkgutil --pkgs | grep tv.sage
