FYI 6.3.7 on Linux requires package faac
I haven't found this documented anywhere but when I was troubleshooting playback problems on my CentOS server by enabling some of the flags I got from support, I discovered that ffmpeg is throwing error because it cannot find libfaac. Once I installed faac package, it started working.
