TV says 'FRONT'

Hello,
I luckily haven't had to post here for some time as things have been working well. Unfortunately, I have forgotten most of the lexicon so I will try my best to make sense. I have a Gigawire pc to tv converter (no s-video input on tv) that converts from s-video to the red, white and yellow a/v inputs on the side of my tv. Unfortunately the word 'FRONT' has appeared on our TV (I once got it to go away by playing with the Gigawire converter) but now I cannot make it go away. Does anyone have a good pc to tv converter that they would recommend?

What kind of video card do you have? If the video card has s-video out then most likely it has a composite out(yellow rca) with an adaptor.

I just did a quick search at radiosh@ck. Something like this will convert s-video to composite.

If you are mistaken (I think you are ) and you are actually using VGA out. This will convert VGA to composite.

Another option would be to upgrade your TV...

Are you sure it's not your TV's on screen display you're seeing?

Check your TV's remote to see if there is a display button, then try pressing that until it goes away.
