Randomly split MPEG files using Plextor TV-402U

Hello,

This is a question to the Plextor ConvertX TV-402U users out there:

Do you get randomly split MPEG files? It, Sometimes its recording a show to file MyShowName-12345idnum-0.mpg and then it suddenly stops recording that file and starts on MyShowName-12345idnum-1.mpg? (ie: it bumps the final digit in the file name up one number)

I cut on the debug log, and have discovered that when this happens I the error that 'SEEKER HAS DETECTED A HALT'. (logs at end of post) I have tried the following steps to remedy the problem, but have had no luck:

1. Using only one TV-402U at a time (I normally have two connected)
2. Uninstalled my virus scan software (thinking it might be conflicting)
3. Installed a PCI USB 2.0 card (problem unchanged)
4. Tried various capture bitrates

Any help is appreciated. It makes it hard to burn DVDs when you have more than one file!!

Regards,
