New audio problems with 20080125 firmware
Is anyone able to get SPDIF audio output to work with the new firmware? I was using it instead of HDMI because I was not able to get Dolby Digital via HDMI. The last Beta fixed the Dolby Digital/HDMI problem but now with the released version it has reverted back to only 2-channel PCM out of HDMI. When I select SPDIF output with the new firmware I don't seem to get audio from HDMI or SPDIF??

I get audio fine thru SPDIF with the latest firmware. Receiver confirms it to be 5.1 DD.

fully updated firmware/server/etc. and i lost 5.1 via HDMI (honestly not sure it ever worked), but now get it over spdif. However, at the moment nothing works as the extender is randomly shutting down and stopping the service somehow. I filed a bug report last night. firmware is the one with the #2.

Ever since I installed 6.3.7, I have lost sound with my music files. On the hd extender, they appear to be playing, but there is no sound. This would seem to be the HDMI issue discussed here. But something else happens on my mvps, which simply jump to the end of each song as soon as I click play, so it seems it might be a server issue, since different clients are having different issues. Anyone else noticing this?
