Auto Output Resolution Change
Is it possible to have SageTV (either SageMC or Client) auto resize the output resolution depending on source.
Ie. If it's SD have the resolution be 480p. If the source is 720p the 720p etc. Just curious as our cable company provided HD boxes do this and the hardware scaling on the TV would be better than what Sage/PC could probably(?) do. Thanks.

SageTV does not currently have this feature (though I Would very much LIKE it to have it). However, look at ReClock. (www.slysoft.com). It has the ability to call a script when media is started, and that script can be set to set your output resolution/refresh rate for you. It is free software, but also has it's quirks. So far, for me, it seems to work rather well with SageTV. The only problems I have with it are some of my video are incorrectly flagged as FILM and VIDEO, causing it to constantly want to switch between 23.976Hz and 59.94Hz.
That all being said, this is a featuer that SHOULD be put into sage. I don't have one, but I believe the Extender DOES have this functionality? (NATIVE output mode?)
