Top line of recording garbled.
New switcher from BTV, man what a difference! I initially moved for the lack of QAM but what a pile of extra features this product has over BTV. Anyway, My recordings seem fine, playback is smooth but on all of my recordings, QAM or analog I get the top row of pixels garbled, like a whitish mix of colors. Im
using a P4 2.8, 2gb of ram, NVidia 7300 (no fan) and a Hauppauge HVR-1600. I keep finding a wealth of knowledge each day I come here and was hoping to tap into some of it!

A line of twinkling pixels at the top of the frame is most likely closed-caption data. On a regular TV it's hidden by overscan. If it bothers you, adjust your aspect ratio settings to push it off the top of the screen.
