Placeshifter on Nokia Tablet
Is the Linux version compatible with the Nokia N810 tablet?

I wouldn't think so. The N810 is not an i386, right? That said you should be able to use the web server with VLC transcoding.

Install Nielm's webserver add-on and VLC on your server. It can do streaming with compression on the fly to the tablet. You can control SageTV with the webserver.
