Is Mac placeshifter fully compatible with Windows SageTV server?

I use Windows for both placeshifter and server. However, I'm thinking about buying a Mac laptop. I'd like to know if the Mac version of placeshifter is fully compatible with the Windows version of the server.

Yes, in my experience when I was using Windows for server. Also a co-worker runs that way all the time.

Still waiting for a new version 6.3 as Sage promised to implement a new rendering system in the upcoming release. At the moment the placeshifter does not playback smoothly full-screen on my mac mini connected to an 1080p tv.
