Troubleshooting poor Placeshifter connection
I need some help troubleshooting my placeshifter connection.
I was visiting family in NC (my sage is in NY) and I had a terrible connection to PS. It would connect fine. It would play decent for about 20 seconds at a time, then jump (skip/stop) for about 10 seconds, then play better again. I just tested it at work (only a few miles from home) and it's playing fine. All connections I tested PS on are 1.5 mbps down. I assumed that is my my sage box, but apparently it's not as it's playing perfectly. I tested it on a Vista notebook and a Win XP box in NC and both had the same symptoms. They were both new installs. Is it a chance that it could have been a driver issue and not an internet connection issue?
