Why don't pictures in my posts show up

So I can't seem to get pictures working in my posts.



For instance, Just above this line I clicked the "add picture" button, and specified this url :

http://bp0.blogger.com/_Z-56vLT7M1E/...0-h/sagemc.png

But the picture doesn't show up. At least not on my machine.....

I don't think PNG's are supported. Save it as a JPG and try again.

Here's the same shot as jpg. I've tried jpeg before with no success, so I'm guessing this won't work either :

That worked! I guess the bloglines accounts don't let you hyperlink to pictures.

Glad you figured it out. However that first PNG you tried is nearly a megabyte big. That seems a tad hefty for inserting in line. Better to link big files as attachments, to avoid burdening people with slower connections.

Also be aware that there's a clause in the forum terms of service prohibiting excessively wide posts that force people to scroll horizontally.

I think I was trying a png because I couldn't get jpg to work, and wondered if jpeg wasn't supported for some weird reason. But small / narrow pictures are what I will post - when posting pics!
