Feature request: improvements to pictures

Hi Sage gods!

I love SageTV - but I find that it is lacking some features for handling pictures... I use it quite a lot to manage my digital pics. I take many (many!) pictures, then delete the bad ones to keep only the good ones.. It would be nice if I could do the following from the "pictures" section

1. Rotate pictures while viewing (even better: allow to save them after they were rotated)
2. Delete pictures: just like we can do for video content - to be able to delete pictures from either full screen view or as thumbnail
3. For some reason, on my AMD2.8G/1Gig system which otherwise runs perfectly, I get very sluggish response for both picture view (moving from thumbnail to full view) and slideshow (moving from one picture to another). All this is with slideshow settings disabled (no transitions, no delays)

It would be nice if I could use my remote do do these things. I already have a "delete" button... I guess it's easy to add a few windows messages for the rotation? or just use existing keys differently withing the pictures menu?

Right now I use VNC and Irfanview to do this by remote controlling the HTPC. But the WAF is very low...

Hopefully I'm not the only one thinking there's room for improvement here...

Also, I get many pictures starting with ~abcde which I can't seem to get rid of!

Yes, I agree! After moving them from flash into my pictures directories I always have to bring up the Windows Explorer and do rotating and deleting.

It would also be nice to add the option to display the description text from the jpg's image header when it is available. I know you can easily set the titles from the properties option under Windows Explorer. I believe it is easy to extract.
