A simple question ...

Is there another way to access the Extender config menu other than powering down and powering up while pushing the Home/Menu - Up buttons ?

The procedure you mentioned is used to reset it. All you need to do is use the power off button on the remote & then use the Home key on the remote to get to the server list menu. You can select Settings from there.

Entering an extender license is on p. 2 of the HD100's printed manual that is in the box or downloadable from the SageTV site (see HD100 FAQs) and is in the SageTV PDF manual on p. 253 (Appendix M).

The problem is the dialog box. I go to Start - Programs - Sage - Register and the dialog box opens. Says 'Enter key below" (or something similar) but there isn't any place to paste the key. Looks like the box needs to be enlarged but no arrows to enlarge the box. I know I ran into the same problem and there is a simple solution which, obviously, I have forgotten.

odd, when i click the register program it pops up with a white rectangle at the bottom of the window to enter the key in. This is whether sage is running or not, which i had thought maybe was your issue.

You'll need to contact support for that one.
