Wink STX-HD100 Pricing Information

Drum roll please.....

The price of the STX-HD100 will be

$199.95

The target date for availability is Monday 12/10/2007.

I'll be making another post later with specifics on capabilities.

(this price also includes one server-side license for the extender; just like the current MVP extenders we sell)

Will there be a price for STX-HD100 without a license? I want to replace my Media Extender with the STX.

Oh, and by the way, you hit the sweet spot for the cost.

Good price. While not shockingly awesome, I believe it is reasonable. Looking forward to getting mine.

Glad to see information rolling in...the natives have been getting restless, 'eh? <grin>

Dig the price, it's in my budget.

Will there be a limit to the quantity you can purchase in your order?

Totally reasonable. Thanks Sage for the update, and most importantly, the date!

Narflex and/or Andy - could you start a thread somewhere that we can subscribe to for official notification that Sage is accepting orders for the STX-HD100? Everyone wants to get in on the action as soon as it's active - and with all these threads talking about the new HD goodness it's getting hard to keep up!

Thanks,
btl.

I kinda want to make sure I can get my hands on one before they sell out, especially considering I am leaving my mark around the HT forums and blogs championing SageTV and the extender. I don't want these new guys to get first dibs.

I believe you can subscribe to the Announcements forum to be notified of new topics posted there. I might make a temporary post to the beta announcements thread too (well, the sticky "SageTV Beta Progress Report" topic), so you could subscribe to that one.

The Announcements forum does accept subscriptions, however the option it offers is "daily" updates.

So that won't cut it! I need an update in my mail box in 2 seconds or less!

I'll keep an eye out for your post in the beta forum.

Thanks,
btl.

SageTV should take pre-orders, this will give them an idea of the amount of demands vs. supply, unless they have more than enough in stock.

Can't wait to see the details, particularly what the remote looks like.

There is already a thread that shows the pictures. It is kinda plain. No racing stripes or anything, but it looks nice. The remote is nothing to write home about but it has all the buttons.

Yay!

My reason to upgrade from 5.0.4 has finally arrived. Sorry guys, until now I've been happy with what I've got.

Thanks for making it happen....

Things have come a long way since I started with 1.4

Count me in, 199.99 is a great price. I'll preorder if you give us the option.

Question Licensing...

Not wanting to start anything by asking this.. but I'm curious.. since I will be replacing my 3 MVP's with the new HD MVP's.. can I transfer or otherwise get a discounted license for the new units? Price point is still good, but an 'upgrade' license cost if not an out and out license transfer would be appreciated for sure..

Looking forward to it!

At this price point, I feel like they are throwing in the license for free. And don't forget you can always use the spare license for placeshifter.

Oh, and of course the obligatory: I can't wait to get mine!

Aloha,
Mike

Yeah, you are right. The advertising should read this.

For a limited time only, buy the new STX-HD100 for only $199.99 and SageTV will throw in an Extender License for FREE! That's right folks, FREE Extender License, a $30.00 value for FREE!

HeHe
