Noobie Question - Placeshifter on eeepc w/ WinXp Server
Ok I've searched and searched and I have found nothing so I am posting hoping for some help.
I have SageTV 5.04.92 working great on my Win XP box (main box) and Placeshifter working great on a laptop running XP BUT I just got an ASUS EEEPC running a modified Xandros distro. My simple question is 1. Can I run Placeshifter on the eeepc and view TV from my SageTV 5.04.92 XP box? and if so.... 2. Could someone please tell a complete linux moron how to do this. Thanks in advance. |

Yes, install java and the miniclient.tar file from sage. I was able to within my VM for Ubuntu and connect to my SageTV media center for XP. I am in the process of converting my windows box to linux. Few things i am trying to resolve. I will attempt Fedora Core 8 tonight or so....
