TV Tuner Cards with IR Blasters??

Hi--i need to replace a Hauppauge PVR 150 with a new card. I need it to have an IR blaster. No need for a tuner since i'm using satellite (but i think they all come with them anyway) Are there any other types of cards out there that come with an IR blaster? I haven't looked in a while.

Hauppauge HVR-1600 is 1. I have it and use it.

As far as I know only some Hauppauge cards (PVR150 / HVR1600) comes with an IR Blaster. Even if you can find other brand, I doubt the blaster would be supported in SageTV.

The other solution would be to purchase an USB-UIRT (it works well, with XP and Vista and is supported by many software)

Or you can wait for new developement on blaster front : on some documents I reviewed, it seems that MS is trying to get more OEMs producing IR blaster like the one in the MCR REmote receiver.

Thanks for the info. I really have no need for the UIRT unfortunately. I should have went with that from the beginning but instead i opted for the Actysis which only controls 1 box. i would hate to have to buy a card and a UIRT. Looks like i'll have to find a cheap pvr 150 version with the blaster.

The USB-UIRT would be a nice replacement for the Actisys (I suppose that one day you'll upgrade your PC and it will not come with a COM port). I used to have an actisys, that I replaced with the PVR150 blaster, it was too unreliable.

Also be careful when you shop out for a cheap PVR150 : the blaster / remote is somehow fragile. I managed to almost break the IR receiver : suddenly the receiver was only seeing half the keypress. I changed the cable and all was fine (and now I didn't damaged the cable or dropped the receiver bug). So you should verify that the blaster is working.
