PQ with the latest Hauppauge cards
Hi,
When I started with sage I used the Hauppauge 500mce capture card. After trying quite a few drivers in an effort to get rid of a nasty crosshatch pattern in my recordings I moved to a pair of ATI Theater650Pro capture cards. There have been a couple of quirks with them, but the pq has been excellent. I have recently discovered a problem that I believe may be related to these cards. I am unable to playback live tv with them when using a unc path for a recording drive. I would like to try a hauppauge card to see if that will solve my problem. Can someone recommend a pci based card that they are getting good pq with? TIA Jesse
