SageTranscoder causing big problems..

When I mouse over a couple of shows that I think are having problems recording... the thumbnail generation takes anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds to return nothing.. and on occasion I have seen memory usage for the transcoder process consume 200 MB. What do you need from me for a bug report?

I too have a big problem with sagetanscoding using 100% of available CPU power, also once the programme or film has been stopped and even exited from Sage and back to desktop the tanscoding continues.
Is there any reason why sage needs to transcode anything at all? How can transcoding be disabled?

EDIT : If I play an .mkv 720p/1080p HD film then it doesnt transcode anything at all, however playing an .avi or .mpeg results in transcoding. I'm assuming its a codec problem on my part but cannot figure where to change or add codecs to fix the problem. Any sudgestions?

EDIT : Ok I've managed to sort out the probelm by adding a few lines to the properties file.

videoframe/mpeg_video_decoder_filter=CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7) for mpeg files
videoframe/mpeg2_video_decoder_filter=CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7) for mpeg2 files
videoframe/avi_video_decoder_filter=CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7) for avi files

Only problem I have now is HD avi files, can anyone sudgest a HD .avi codec?
