Is there any way to tell Sage to start early/end lat by default?

I know I can manually adjust the start/end times for a recording, but is there any global setting that can automatically start recording 5 minutes early and record 5 minutes longer? No matter how many time I sync my clock, it seems that something always gets cut off.

Not a big deal for a manual recording since I can just set it right then, but for favorites that are automatically scheduled it's be nice if they could add a cushion by default.

Any way to do this? I can't find one.

In the customizations section of the forum, check the list of customizations for a link to the Default Record Padding customization.

The links to that STV are all dead. Anyone have this that they could send me or post somewhere?

you can also add padding to a favorite

My plugin (sorry the hosting site is down) only adds padding to new favorites and new manual recordings, it does not change exisiting ones.

Cool, thanks for that info. I only have about 10 favorites, so it's not a big deal to remove them and add them back.

Just curious, I see that it doesn't actually display the starting ending time with the padding. What happens if I manually add, say 5 minutes of padding to a recording, and have your plugin set for 5 minutes. Will your plug-in ignore the fact that I added five minutes manually, or will it add 5 minutes and make it 10?

You don't have to remove them. Just go into the Favorite Details screen for each favorite and adjust the padding amounts there.
