6.2.4 - MVP remote control no workee

I've got a new install of 6.2.4 and when I get it up and running and launch my MVP (wired), I get all the way to the Sage screen and can select live tv, etc. After about 1 minute, my remote stops working. When I click a button, I see the red light flashing, but nothing happens. I rebooted the MVP and system several times and get the same thing. If I select live tv quick enough, I can watch, but I can't change channels or bring the guide up. I uninstalled 6.2.4 and went back to 6.1.9 and it works fine. Anybody else see this?

Also, I am running a 2GHz Celeron with 640M RAM and about every 10-15 mins, my cpu goes to 100% and stays there. I have to kill SageTVService for it to drop back down. This is not the transcoder process, it is the plain SageTVService process. When I dropped back to 6.1.9, the problem went away.

You probably want to submit a bug report for this. However, (and this is just a stab in the dark), what is your JVM Heap size? Look under Setup-->Help-->System Information (scorll down in the big window till you find it). Just curious.

Also, do you have this same problem with the CPU usage on the main install?

Use 67M Total 99M - Java 1.6.0_01

I suspect that is quite a bit too low. I didn't even think about checking that. I am new to Sage and it takes quite a bit of time to figure out how to do stuff and troubleshoot issues. That is on 6.1.9. I pulled off 6.2.4 as it was unusable.

Note necessarily; I think it has to do more with if the total has hit the MAX size. Not sure in your case. See http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...1&postcount=18 for a link to adjust it if nexessary.
