Why do my DVDs play so dark?
I have had this problem ever since I started using Sage years ago... when I watch any DVD (on DVD drive or from a rip on HDD), the picture is too dark. The odd thing is that all my Sage recordings, SD and HD, look great, using the same video playback settings. Using overlay results in a brighter picture, but it is too jerky (I am scaling to 1080P). Any suggestions?
