How do I get the SageMC encoder #'s to show up?

I put a new installation of SageTC with sageMC. What do I need to do to get the encoder # icons to show up in the guide?

Check them off in the SageMC setup page under Icons.

Thats the first place I looked, maybe I'm looking at the wrong section? All the icon pictures have x's near them.

just to confirm, you do have encodermarker#.png in sagetv/sagetv/stvs/sagetv3/sagemc/images and curr_rec.png and curr_rec_enc#.png in sagetv/sagetv/stvs/sagetv3/sagemc/images/showicons

Check your ...SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE\Images folder and make sure you have the encoder markers there. If they aren't there, you can grab a set from either the full SageMC download or from any of my icon sets. HTH

Aloha,
Mike

Edit: Sorry, I didn't refresh my screen and missed the above comments.

If you are talking about Icon Options, my screen shows the different icons across the top of the screen with Recorded, Scheduled, Other, Guide down the left. That's it, no x's on the screen. I can use the remote to move the cursor and see where there would be a box in each column and row, but they are empty. Other than that, I dunno.

edit: disregard this, it appears that I may be missing a graphic for the X. If I hit OK in a space in the grid, it does change the icon functionality, but I don't know what is turned on/off, since all the spots are empty.

Does anybody know what graphic controls that?

It should be the 3rd icon from the left.

Jack, I think that's the problem. How do I know which set of jars to use? Every time I install a plugin, there's a different version and date for some of the jar files. I just chose the most recent file versions of everything. Maybe I have to use whatever is in the sageMC version regardless if there are newer jars that are needed for stvi's.

Jack, that did it! Thanks so much. I just replace the newer jars that were in the sageMC full package.

I dunno, I just use the most recent file version of each JAR. If I unzip a new import in and it wants to overwrite an existing JAR, I look at the timestamp and keep the newest version.

I've actually cleaned out my JAR folder a couple times to help clean up import sprawl. I just copy in the JARs that are used with the imports I currently use.

edit: glad it worked, I was looking back in the main thread, and said "That sounds familiar"
