New Mac USB TV tuner

Hey guys,
does that white tv tuner that you offer with the sage mac software for $199 come with some sort of IR emmiter so that you can change channels on the stb like the usb-uirt?

Since nobody's answered you yet, I'll take a crack at it.

No. No IR emitter. It probably comes with the standard Hauppauge remote to control sage. This alone will be fine if you use Cable TV with no set top box. Unlikely since most people geeky enough to build & setup a SageTV system are also likely to be into digital cable, satellite and HDTV.

I know of no Mac solution to change the channel of a STB with Sage.
