Streamzap for Client?
I have a Firefly remote that I use for my family room Sage setup. It is a great remote. I have recently set up a Client in my bedroom, and would like a remote for it. As much as I would like another Firefly, at roughly $50 for it, it's not what I want to spend on a second remote for a Client that will get less use than the Firefly.
I'm not particularly picky about the remote, but it must be able to do the basic stuff as well as use the multi-speed FF/REW customization that I have come to love. Will the Streamzap remote work for this? How customizable is the Streamzap within the Sage Client? Or, as I have a Onkyo receiver in my room, would a combination of the Streamzap IR receiver and something like Girder allow me to use the Onkyo remote on the Client? Apologies if this is a newbie question. I'm not up on how IR vs. RF works! Thanks! |
