Not really a Christmas present, but I just found it and nobody else has said anything.
I found this by accident last night while rebuilding my HTPC. As many here know I use a Streamzap remote and Girder to control my HTPC. So while rebuilding it, I downloaded the latest Streamzap Girder plugin for "Girder 3.2+".
The bad news is that it didn't work right with Girder 3.2.9 (they haven't added anything usefull really
or I'd upgrade). The colored buttons for some reason activate each other (it's wierd, take my word for it).
The good news (other than I found the 3.2 plugin
), is that in the process of trying to figure out what's wrong, I found that with the latest version (at least, 2.0.0.0) there's now an option to use the Streamzap reciever as a generic IR reciever. There's now a setup option (in Girder) to have the plugin return raw IR codes to girder. This means us Streamzap users can now use any remote we want with the Streamzap reciever
Just an FYI to all the other Streamzap/Girder users out there.
Actually it looks like it might require, not-yet-released drivers
Quote:
This plugin requires Streamzap PC Remote drivers 2.9.7 or later to be installed on your computer.
