convert DVD audio to MP2 while retaining menus
I have had success using Sage to transcode ripped DVDs to my MVP, as long as the audio is AC3.
Now I am experiencing stuttering with a concert DVD that has PCM audio and would like to do a permanent conversion to MP2 audio so that the MVP can play the files natively, without transcoding. I would prefer to do this in such a way that I retain the existing DVD menus. Any suggestions? I have searched the forums and found pointers to lots of tools (ffmpeg, IMToo, Womble, VideoRedo, etc.) and I have tried quite a few of them, but I am still struggling to get exactly what I want. Is it even possible do to this and keep the menus? It seems like such a simple thing . . Thanks, Lee |

Got the answer at the videohelp forums:
http://forum.videohelp.com/topic323261.html#1663357 I used pgcdemux, besweet (to convert the audio), muxman, and then vobblanker. Lee |
