Best DVB-T Dual Tuner
After some advice.
Just about to build a dedicated media server which will incorporate 2 dual DVB-T tuners. Was wondering about peoples experiences with the various dual tuners on the market, their implementation in STV, and their compatability with UK DVB-T signals. Currently got a Nova T USB plug into my laptop and that works fine but I've been reading some bad things about signal reception on the Dual Nova T PCI Cheers

I have a Dual Nova T PCI and I do struggle with the signal, but its mainly down to my old aerial. The house is 120 years old and there's no way I'm climbing onto the old slates to change it.
I've tested it at work with a new aerial and it works fine. I know a lot of people have the Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT and they think its great. The only reason I went for the hauppauge was because I didn't have pci-e. If I were to choose again now, if I had pci and pci-e, I'd probably give the 2400i a try as I haven't seen a bad word said about it.

One vote for the 2400i here.
Make sure you use the .255 drivers tho. Found that .260 driver were unstable. Although oddly if I want to tune in scanchannelsbda I need to use .260. Scanning in sage always seems to be pretty unsuccessful. Only 13 channels found last time. One my friends scans with the 2400i in sage no problems tho

What he said. It's PCI vs PCIe. I save my PCI slots and use my PCIe for the 2400i (you can use them in x1, x8 and x16 slots). Rock-solid for a long time in my rig.
