Question Rotating photos screws up path in wiz.bin

I just noticed the following: when I rotate a photo (jpg) in the Photo library, it disappears from the folder it was in and gets displayed in the root of the Photo Library

I checked the physical location, and the file is still residing in the original folder (together with the backup copy xxx.jpg.original) on disk. I tried several UI restarts and import library rescans to fix this, but neither seems to correct it. The server log shows the following:

Code:
Sun 5/6 20:24:53.577 jpegtran bin at C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\jpegtran.exe
Sun 5/6 20:24:53.578 Executing process: C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\jpegtran.exe
Sun 5/6 20:24:54.121 Reimporting metadata for mediafile because it changed:MediaFile[id=4407668 A[4407671,4407669,"Dirks Camera/Kathrin/IM000260",0@0714.21:04,0] host=server encodedBy= format=JPEG 0:00:00 0 kbps [] \\server\photos\Dirks Camera\Kathrin\IM000260.JPG, Seg0[Thu 7/14 21:04:27.999-Thu 7/14 21:04:28.000]]
I am baffled because I know that this worked in the past without problems. I am running the latest SageTV version (6.1.19), and it happens in SageMC as well as the default STV.

Any ideas ?

It looks like the relative path in the title field isn't updated properly after the rotation. In the default STV, it is shown in the correct folder if you are using the "Separate" folder display style, but not in "Combined" mode.

Until the title field is fixed you would probably have to reimport the file or that whole photo import dir. (i.e.: remove the photo or import dir, rescam, add it back, rescan.)

Hi Andy,

yep that was exactly it, the relative path in the 'Title' field got corrupted during the rotation. I changed it back to the original path using some internal functionality in SageMC, and it now shows again in the correct location.

So is this a known bug, or should I file a report ?

I already sent an email about it after seeing what was happening when I tested it last night.
