Problem viewing photos over network

I have my photos stored on another machine, and I have everything set up correctly (I think). With the pervious version I never had this issue, but whenever I go into the photos module I get 100% cpu utilization and it's basically useless.

I can eventually close SageTV and start it up again and everything is fine (except for the photos). I have no problems viewing the photos remotely using windows explorer via the share name. The sagetv service is set up to use a user name that has access to that share.

Any ideas? I have tried browsing the forum but haven't seen anything related (I am using latest version of sagetv).

Do you have set up the service to use a different user than the current login ? I had a general problem with running Sage as a service (100% CPU as soon as I watched live TV or recordings), and after using the same user the problem disappeared.

Not sure if this applies to your system, but you might want to give it a try.

Yes it's the same account...I have the PC automatically logging in to the PC and the service is using the same account (I have the same username and password on the machine that is hosting the photos).
