Weather radar images/animation

Greetings!

Is there a plug in/customization that includes the weather radar images/loops from Maldude's STV that can be used in Sage 6.0? I enable the "secret" features in the interface, and while it's nice to have the weather forecast, the weather report suite in Maldude's STV was much more satisfying. Is the WRS available in a stand-alone version?

Never mind...I found the info regarding dynamic menus and the WRS and loaded it. Works great!

I spoke too soon...

I did get the WRS working, but only temporarily. I don't know what happened, but the WRS no longer appears in the main menu. I tried reloading the weather report suite stv from the dynamic menus, but that does not bring the WRS menu option back. I currently have eight "sagetv3-*.xml" files in my SageTV3 directory, none of which produce the desired WRS menu option.

What do I need to do to get the WRS back?

You probably forgot to save the menu config file after adding the menu item, so you just need to re-add the menu item, and save the menu configuration file...

Yeah, I think that did it.

Now, I have nine SageTV3-*.xml files in my SageTV3 directory. Can/should I delete these? Should I keep only the latest? Or do these files have anything to do with the menu config file I just saved?

Regarding SageTV3-*.xml files, you really only need to keep the current one that you are using, probably the latest one, and the default SageTV3.xml.

Each time you import an .stvi, Sage creates a new SageTV3-*.xml file, incrementing it by one #. So, unless you want to revert back to a newer .xml, you can delete the older .xml files.
