Possible to synch placeshifter playback with server?

Is there a way to synch playback using placeshifter on a laptop in another room with the server playing a show on the main tv? My wife would like to be able to watch the same show we are watching from the kitchen while she cooks.

You can watch the same show on the server and a SageTV client or PlaceShifter client at the same time. They are all independent of each other, but able to view the same recording simultaneously without a problem (unless you run out of network bandwith or your server can't keep up - which I've never had happen with 2 clients running simultaneously).

In case it needs clarification: there is no way to synchronize them so they are all playing at the same spot, however.

But as soon as somebody hits Pause or Rewind, you're going to lose sync again.

You could always get in the kitchen and help her out!

Actually, that wouuld be a great feature for music at parties. If you could link clients you could have the same music playing in every room.
