Launch from Command line
Is there a way to launch a Placeshifter session from the command line so that it automatically connects to the server? This is on a local LAN, so no user id and password required.

Try this :
java -cp MiniClient.jar sage.miniclient.MiniClient -mac 00:01:23:45:67:89 <IP of server> it works for me (The MAC address is made up, so I'm not sure why you need it but it works!) Tim

You don't actually need the -mac 00:01:23:45:67:89 part. However if you have multiple Placeshifter licenses, you can start multiple Placeshifter clients on the same machine by using different bogus MAC addresses.
When connecting by LAN, you can also use the server's Windows computer name in place of its IP address.
