Will ver 6 do stereo and s/pdif ?
Currently, I use WinDVD rather than Sage for DVD playback. Reason, WinDVD allows me to simultaneously output 2-channel stereo to the TV speakers and 5.1 digital to the surround sound receiver. Never could figure out how to do that in Sage. If I play a DVD using Sage, 2-channel stereo is all there is.
Can ver. 6 be set up to output both ? Has anyone done it ? Ken C |

Didn't know you could output to 2 sound destinations simultaneously, but if I told you have I have Sage 6 with ac3filter installed and it passes through Dolby 5.1 from DVDs (physical and ripped) to my amp would that help ?

Ken,
I know exactly what you are wanting as I have the same desire. I want SPIDF when I want it and regular 2 channel most of the time. I don't think is is tied to Sage in anyway but is actually the decoder. The only one I found that would output both simultaneously is Cineplayer Surround (Sonic Cinemaster Surround decoder) Ac3filter might work but I use Sonic Cinemaster and it does it fine. Could not get anything with Nvidia or Cyberlink, it was one or the other. |

I have acopy of Sonic's Cineplayer Surround. It is their software DVD decoder and it will show up in Sage. Don't know if the decoder pack will work or not but the full player did for me.
