Accessing google videos in SageMC
Hiya
Im on 6.0.11.108 and whilst I can see the online -> google video options in the default STV, I can't under SageMC 6.13a - How do I turn this on ? Do I have to use dynamic menus ? (If so, I've tried and having problems but I guess thats a post for a different sub-forum) Thanks Tim |

You will have to wait for the new features in 6.0 to be added to the SageMC STV.

- SageMC_169.xml (for SageTV5.x) - SageMC_169_SagetTV60beta.xml (for SageTV 6.0 beta, includes Google Video) Please visit the SageMC 6.x thread, there are several posts which describe different ways (dynamic menus, custom main menus) to link to the Google screen. Dirk |

Thanks for the replies.
Is there a way to search *within* a thread ? I find the really long ones difficult to find information in. I guess that's the answer I was looking for, I'm having problems with dynamic menus. What do you mean by 'custom main menus' ? Tim |

Yes there is. Its besides 'thread tools' at the top of the page called 'search this thread'.
Also-here are the instructions for adding google videos to the My videos page using studio. This and the dynamic menu stuff you are looking for can be found in and around post 1828 in the SageMC thread. 1. With SageTv running, open Stuidio (Cntrl-Shift-F12) 2. Scroll down to the menu page definition of "Video Library Folder View" 3. Expand it, find "Menu Container" (first widget), and expand it too. 4. Riight click on "Menu Container" and select New Child -> Item 5. The new button is now at the bottom of the list as "UNTITLED", change it to "Movie Theaters" or "Theater Times" or whatever you want the button to say. 6. Scroll up, find "MovieTimes Main", click on it and do a copy (Cntrl-C) 7. Go back down to "Video Library Folder View" and click on the item you created in steps 4 and 5 8. Do a Paste Reference, under the Edit menu (Cntrl-Shift-V does not always work right for me). "MovieTimes Main" should appear in italics there now. 9. Save your changes (in current file or new) 10. Close Studio Hope this helps, JUC
