How to put SageTV into sleep mode?

Ok i have looked and even used the event # to try and put sage to sleep when i start it up. It just doesn't work for me. The reason i asked is because every once a week, i have a reboot utility to reboot my server. I would rather when sage starts up for it to go into sleep mode.

Have you checked Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> Load at Windows Startup? There is an option to have it start sleeping in the system tray when Windows starts. Maybe that's what you want.

If it is starting full screen & you want the screen saver, then it should go there automatically after the timeout period. The only quicker way I can think of to start the screen saver right away after rebooting would be to set up some startup script that paused for a couple minutes to give SageTV time to fully start & then send the event number to tell it to sleep.
