Mosttimes it takes 10 seconds or so to receives these infos.
If the artist being played is not found on the yahoo music site, then no picture and bio info will appear. Try selecting a different station. Other reasons I would not know. Cannot be the internet connection, because webradio is playback is working.

Might be that you have two versions of the commons-httpclient*.jar in the JARS folder.
WebRadio needs the commons-httpclient-3.0.1.jar. The 2.0.2 version was probably installed with the weather report suite plugin for SageTV 3. SageTV 4 and up doesn't need this jar file, because it natively support the weather report.
If you find that both the 3.0.1 and 2.0.2 are listed, then try removing the 2.0.2 version and restart SageTV, this should fix the missing artist pic and info. Also please verify that weather info is still working. (this info is also report under known issues in this post: http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...57&postcount=1)

Chris, I know you already have a lot on your plate. But just a suggestion; if possible...

When you hit right-arrow on a radio station, it would be nice to automatically take you to it's Now Playing detailed information...

alternatively, if you press Enter/Select a second time on a radio station, it will take you to it's Now Playing as well. First time you press select would of course play the radio station.

What do you guys think?

Michael, implemented in five minutes. Really nice improvement.
Finishing up changes for release 1.1, which will fix problems with Sage Media player and web radio mutual exclusivity.

thanks for your feedback.

Still stumped.

Using Sage Client 5.0.4
Using SageMC

Checked both comments about .jar files and everything looks OK.

My experiences with the new version:

In the "Now Playing" screen, when I use the next/previous station buttons to change the station, everything seems to change and update except the station name remains the same and does not change or update.

Also, in the same screen, when I click on the the Biography and scroll through it, there seems to be a problem. When it reaches the end of the biography, scrolling down further causes the station to change (goes to next station). And when at the top of the Biography, scrolling futher up causes the station to change (goes to the previous station). When changing stations in this manor, everything updates correctly (even the station name).

Playback stops when I click on the sleep mouse icon, but does not stop when clicking close (which many of us have it set to sleep on close).

Thanks for the update. Looking foward to the next!

Thanks for the feedback. A couple of issues you mention here have already been fixed for the new version. The playback stop on close problem is new to me. I'll try to solve it.

Can turn on log4j debug logging by removing the leading # character of the following line in the log4j.properties file located in folder where SageTV.exe or SageClient.exe resides.

#log4j.category.nl.cmkprojects=debug, log

Debug logging for webradio goes to the log4j.log file.

I'm having a problem getting this working. Just looking at the log it produced (and having no idea what i'm talking about ) I imagine the issue might be with my USB Audigy2 sound card.

Any thoughts?
Yes, it has something to do with your audio device probably. It seems the player is able to receive the audio stream, but cannot open the audio device.
I took a look at the jlgui (player lib I'm using) web site to see if your problem is known over there, but to no avail.
Maybe you can play a little with the settings of your audio device in the control panel and see if that helps.

evil, are you using a 1.5.x version of Java? I see a related problem here...

Or, maybe it's your card??

I should still be on 1.4 java (or whatever came with Sage).

I'll play around with my settings tonight and see if I can't get something working.

Debug logging for webradio goes to the log4j.log file.

So I had nothing better to do, so I reinstalled Sage Client. The install was old (Frey directory) and there was a bunch of old stuff in the properties file.

Anyway... still no joy. Still nothing generated from the log file.

Did you put the stationlist.txt in the folder where SageTVClient.exe resides?

After removing the 2.x.x http .jar, it's working well. One thing though...the remote's "Stop" button no longer stops playback like the last version. Sage's and Sblast's (WRS)weather modules are fine. Like above, the station info doesn't change with a new selection. Still awesome though, thanks again!

Yes. I double checked that again last night before posting and the "default" was there. Tonight I'll delete it and recreate it, maybe there is something I'm missing.
