As you're all expecting an update, here is it.

The 'fix' is complete now and is being tested. We'll distribute a new version tomorrow assuming the testing goes OK.

so far so good. let's have a while to check with other issues.

sage: thanks for this fix. (i hope it will remain fixed...)

Problem is solved with v4.1.12
I'm using it now without problem.

Great support. Isn't it? Thanks Jef!

Cool

ok the time is now right. but i have with ir the same problems...the same show will recorded all the time (i think the showid is wrong from tvtv or from sage) and other shows are marked as watched...but i havent watch this shows..

also some shows are marked as movie, but this shows are not movies..

mhmm i think the tvtv integration is not really bug free..and i ask me, when we become a tvtv integration this will work with all the features that tvtv are given to other software (mark in the web interface in tvtv a show as record and this will be send to sage...this will not work and other features from tvtv are also not working).

i pay for sage and i pay for tvtv... and what i become...a basic epg...this i have from the start when i use sage...with xmltv.. hey sage that is not the right way...

yes, that's correct. many shows (i love J.A.G.) are only recorded once, all other episodes are not recorded and they have all the same description (thats probably the reason why...)
either the data delivered by tvtv or the import filter of sage is definitively scrap....

unfortuneatly there is no (easy?) way to trace this because the tvtv data is stored in encryped (or at least scrambeled) form.
so i cannot say who made the fault.

as easy it is to add tvtv services as useless it is, if the data are not consistent and correct.

is there a real commitement at sage to solve this problem? (with or without tvtv)

You should report this as a bug to Sage -- make sure that you note the show ID's (those number starting with SHxxx, MVxxx, EPxxx ro SPxxx in detailed Setup). Sage uses this value as a key in it's database, so it must be unique for each episode

EPxxx, MVxxx and SPxxx are unique program ID's, and should only be used for single episodes (or movies or sports events respecitively). Sage will only record an EPxxx once, and will not record an EPxxx marked as watched.

SHxxx should be used if there is only a 'generic' description for a show (not a unique episode ID), and sage will record multiple episodes of a show with SHxxx ID's (but they will all have the same show information).

ah, ok! i see...
on recording details with my favorite "soap" J.A.G there is a showid: EP13911000000. that means it is only a single movie not a serie an will be recorded once.
so far so bad...
but the showid isnt made by sage..? i think this must be an information from tvtv, not?
how can qualify sage this by importing the epg data?

Has anyone noticed that the show descriptions are out? They certainly are for uk data, I did not notice, but she did!

For instance Home and Away on channel five shows the same description all week.

CSI shows the incorrect description to, apparently a couple of days ahead of it's self.

The same here. For series the same description and show id is used for every episode. Sage will only record one episode. You have to clear the watched status, for a new episode to be recorded. Like Roedel said either a bug in Sage or in the tvtv data. Submitted a bug report for this.
