Anyone heard of Lumanate?

I am looking for dual tuner alternatives, and I found the Angel II from Lumanate. Has anyone heard of this? I searched on Lumanate and came up empty on the forum.

Thanks,

B

Interesting find. Never heard of Lumanate, but some of their products are called "Maui" (the pci tuner cards). Maui card were originally made by eMuzed for Microsoft in the 1st generation of MCE. They never were available to the general public, only to OEM's. As a result, they never found support in Sage.

If these are the same cards, or for Sage compatibility currently, I don't know but I kind of doubt it.

I sent an email to Lumanate. The only place to buy the cards today is through Dell. The Dell part number is RD729. I tried looking on Dell's website for ordering but did not find it. They also stated that they will have an announcement in a few weeks with a major retailer. I will be picking up a card (unless it is cost prohibitive) to see how it works out.

If you didn't look at the card, it looks to have a nice feature set from a connections point of view.

I found one on ebay. Wasn't there yesterday..

Edit: I think what users of STBs would find nice is the dual S-Video on one bracket.
