Done.. See first post. Next time I'll throw in the variables into the setup menu so you don't have to exit sage to change some things..

The wife is away for a couple days next week with the kids so I might have some time to play and add some of the things I want!

I'm going to clean up the guide a little and I want to add the 1st run and HDTV Icons as well as a couple of my own to denote a digital recording and the encoder number that it is or going to be recorded on. I also want to add the indicator for favorite and such... Oh.. and I want to add the customizations options to the setup menu so you can change it without having to quit sage..

But I want to release my other mini plugin first which will allow you to jump right to the detailed info when you click on a recording or guide cell instead of bringing up the options menu... I'm almost done with that...

Jim

FYI ... Your config stuff shows up in the supported section of the customize menu rather than unsupported extras ... leaves the impression Sage supports it ... Not sure if that was by dsesign ...

Again ... I love this plugin ... thanks for not only providing it, but then continuing to imporve it !!!

OH ... And since I copied "miniguide_plugin_0_94.stvi" to my STVi folder, should I clean up and delete my old "miniguide_plugin_0_92.stvi" file??

Yes it was.. There was a thought that not everyone will enable all the unsupported extras. So they will still be able to configure the plugin.

Sure you can delete it.. it doesn't matter either way. Once you import the STVi then it's not needed anymore unless you have to reimport it for some reason..

Cool ... Thanks Jim ... You have a point ... There should probably be a third section ... like Third Party Imports ... along with the Sage Supported Customizations and Unsupported Sage Extras ...

This import works very well but I had a few idea I thought I'd mention, just in case you are going to take this further.

The channel icon bleeds up past the border.
The border has some other cosmetic issues I'm sure everyone can see.

Is there any way of making it look more like the default ver4 stv? Like rounded corners and such.

Thanks

If by channel icons you mean the logos...I didn't have the logos loaded on my development machine. I'll try to see what you mean..

From the first post:
Quote:
Extra config - not in the setup.

Cayars/OSD_Rounded_Corners=true
If you set this in the properties (while Sage isn't running)
the Mini guide will have rounded corners.. Which I prefer..
This is set to false by default from previous versions. I figure this is something you just set once so I didn't put it in the config...
Try that. it's already in there.

Jim

I understand .... probably not in that order too!

But it would be cool in your "spare" time ...

Someday in my "spare" time I am going to learn more than the basics about Studio ...

Thanks, T.

channel change w/ number keys on miniguide

I could be missing something but have read through this entire thread. The number keys don't work in the miniguide to jump to a channel. Is there currently a way to set this up?

btw-Love the miniguide, w/o this feature I don't think I'd be able to use Sagetv in place of my other STB.

I'll look into this and add it if it's not too much trouble...
