Pure Video "Smart Mode"

When I select "Smart" in the decoder options, it goes back and forth between film and video in what it is detecting (same show). It does this for everything but DVDs. On screen it looks like a bad edit type scenario, where it looks like two scenes are trying to play at once. Automatic mode is fine. Anyone else see this?

I get this on some 480i content. It is a bug in Smart Mode.

I get the same thing. I no longer use smart mode because of it.

That's what it's supposed to do TV is usually shot on film, but that cadence gets mostly destroyed by the time it reaches the decoder.
