SageMC: yes, in theory, they use the same JAR file so you just need to extract it from the plugin and put it in the JARs directory.

I have the IMDB search loaded and it appears to be mostly working. I can get all of the text info but I do not get any images. I do not get the cover art or the photos of the actors. Is there another STVi I need to import or a setting to get the images?

I have alike problem with series of movies announced in the EPG by a common title, e.g. 'Cinema 2'. Then the episode name holds the title of the movie, e.g. "Hable con Ella" . Now when I choose view IMDB Info I get to choose between search for title or search for episode name. If I pick seach for episode name then the plugin will do a query for episode name "Hable con Ella". But since this is the title of the movie it won't find it.

Nielm, It would be an improvement if we also could search for a title in IMDB with episode name as input. What do you think, would that be possible?

In the meantime I patched my STV to search for title even if I choose search for episode. What it does is it takes the episode name from the description and then performs a title query in IMDB, giving me the correct info. I never search for episode info in IMDB.

Amit, I think you can do the same here to resolve your problem.
When the search type selection shows Start Studio (ctrl-shift-F12) and change the code for item 'search for episode name':
from
AddStaticContext("SearchType","Episode")
to
AddStaticContext("SearchType","Title")

Sorry, I didn't see this post until after I posted the update...

I am not sure how to workaround this: sometimes I really do want to search for episode name... Maybe a search for 'Episode "xxx" as title'?

Looks like the trivia page needs scroll bars? Every other page seems to have them fine.

It does...

For some reason the last few pixels of the last line are being cut off there, there is no need for scrollbars as there is plenty of space still...
I cannot reproduce this on my system, I guess there must be a core bug somewhere for calculating font sizes... Which client are you using?

Mac Placeshifter. I will look it up on a windows client too, then.

Also I noticed on a Windows client that when you scroll up from the top point to go to the bottom there is an image left on the top bar as well as the select bar moves down to the bottom. This does not happen when going down.

I also see it on Windows placeshifter... There is not a lot I can do other than report it as a bug....

Re image left behind: this is normal - the image highlights the currently active page like in detailed setup (it also gets left on the last item when you go down to web site/back)

I just upgraded to the latest version and now, and now, the last line with data on the left side get's cutoff.

So when I am looking at say trivia info for a particular person and I scroll down to the last page, the last line in the last page is cutoff mid-way and it cannot be read.

Anyone else having this problem?

Hi,

I find this tool handy and interesting to look up cast etc.. But as of late it seems to only work about 10% of the time when searching. Most of the time it says 0 results.

And I'm searching for Movies which are on IMDB, as if I search manually using the browser it works fine. Anyone else this problem?

Looks like actor photo displays are not working again.
Was working a week ago. Now all machines in my home are not displaying the actor photos. Possibly a change to the IMDB site caused this issue?

I'm still having the issue as above, apocalypto for example looks up fine in imdb but "Shooter" doesn't. So I'm not quite sure if imdb has change the site (it looks teh same to me, but I know parsing a webpage any little thing can cause issues)
