no channel name /data in TV guide
After installing sage.tv, XMLTV, XMLTV plugin, XML parcer, and succesfully generating the epgdata.xml i have been running into problems.
When running the setup wizard i am not able to selectXMLTV lineup (i suppose that this should be an option in the setup wizard after having installed the plugin) Any ideas what could be wrong?? (i'm running the UK plugin http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&threadid=2234) Flemming/Denmark |

Are you using '0000' for the zip code? And does the Sage box have internet access? I found that, even with the '0000' zip, it will hang if Sage can't call home. Don't know why this is. As a note, this is for when Sage is attempting to parse the XMLTV data but it can't hurt to give it a try.

Yes i am using 0000 and the sage box has internet access:
After going into setup wizard, i select ny haupphauge card. Having done this i get to where i can select EPG lineup. Next i select: use programming guide data with this source then the 0000 zip code and then i end up only being able to select USA programming data. at which point should i meet the option with XMLTV lineup?? |

Actually the zip code does not make any difference, and using the XMLTV EPG plugin, Sage will never access the internet.
If XMLTV lineup is never shown in the setup wizard, it means that Sage has failed to load the XMLTV plugin, which is why I mentioned the properties line... Check that: The .class files from the zip file were extracted into an XMLTV subdirectory of the SageTV directory, so that you have Code:
c:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\xmltv\*.class you could also try turning on the console window (in 2.0/2.1) or checking the sagetv_0.log files (in 2.2 beta) to see if any errors were generated when loading the plugin class you could also try running the plugin tester which tries to pretend that it is sage and peform a dummy import of the data |
